English Education Programs: INTENSIVE ENGLISH FOR WORK This program assists refugees and immigrants receiving public assistance to learn both English and workplace skills. The classes help students master vocabulary and communication skills needed on-the-job. Students learn how to look for work, apply for jobs, complete job interviews, function in the workplace, and resolve problems with co-workers and supervisors. Classes incorporate field trips to work sites and basic training on computer use. |
